Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing marketing and sales strategies to increase hotel revenue, brand visibility, and market share. The role focuses on promoting rooms, banquets, restaurants, and hotel services while building strong corporate and community relationships.

Key Responsibilities

 

A. Marketing & Branding

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans
  • Promote Nepalirika Hotel brand as “Best in the East”
  • Plan promotional campaigns and offers
  • Manage online and offline brand presence
  • Coordinate advertising, PR, and media relations

     

B. Sales Development

  • Increase room occupancy and banquet sales
  • Build relationships with corporate clients
  • Generate new business leads
  • Prepare sales proposals and contracts
  • Conduct market visits and client meetings

     

C. Digital Marketing

  • Manage hotel social media platforms
  • Oversee content creation and promotions
  • Coordinate with designers for promotional materials
  • Monitor online reviews and reputation
  • Optimize OTA platforms (Booking.com, etc.)

     

D. Event & Banquet Promotion

  • Market banquet halls and event packages
  • Coordinate with event organizers
  • Create seasonal and festival packages
  • Promote weddings, conferences, and social events

     

E. Market Research

  • Analyze competitor activities
  • Study market trends
  • Identify new target segments
  • Prepare sales and marketing reports

     

F. Coordination

  • Work closely with Front Office and F&B departments
  • Align promotions with hotel operations
  • Coordinate with finance for pricing and budgets
